全区光缆总长度达到1744.82公里；固定电话交换机总量达到297747万门；本地客户专用接入传输系统等效带宽45974.68等效2M公里,国际互联网用户发展迅猛，互联网专线接入城域网带宽6727.51M，ADSL端口容量94608个。通信业的快速发展为加快信息建设提供了有利条件。综合通信能力进一步增强。新建、扩建了一批重点通信工程项目。南岸电信完成了覆盖全区的ADSL扩容，10000客户系统、97系统优化、本地账务系统等重点工程建设，使综合通信能力和网络管理能力得到明显提高。

    Communication facilities: the total length of optical fiber cables in Nan’an District reaches 1,744.82 km; there are 297,747 million fixed telephone exchanges; the bandwidth equivalence of the dedicated transmission system for access of local customers is 45,974.68 on a 2M kilometer basis. With the rapid increase of Internet users, the bandwidth of metropolitan area network of dedicated Internet access reaches 6,727.51M with 94,608 ADSL ports. The rapid development of communication industry tends to provide favorable conditions for the speeding up of information construction. The comprehensive communication capacity is also enhanced. A number of key communication projects are expanded or newly built. China Telecom Nan’an branch has completed some key projects, including ADSL capacity expansion, optimization of 10000 customer service system and 97 system, and local finance system, which significantly improves the capacity of comprehensive communication and network management.
